建築家・美術家の佐野文彦が、自然素材の美しさと職人の技を尊重しながら、伝統と現代が調和する空間をデザイン。館内には、「繋泊（けいはく）」をコンセプトにキュレーションされたアート作品も点在し、新たな出会いと発見を演出します。

海から知る、宮島の牡蠣文化
宮島の海へ船で繰り出し、広島名物・牡蠣の水揚げを間近で見学。 海から引き上げられる牡蠣筏や牡蠣剥きなど、普段は見ることのできない牡蠣漁の現場を間近に見学します。海上からしか見ることのできない宮島や厳島神社、海に佇む大鳥居を望む、迫力ある景色も魅力のひとつ。 水揚げ見学のあとは、獲れたての牡蠣を味わうランチとともに、宮島の海と食文化を楽しめる特別なアクティビティです。
